Work has started on a new multi-million pound housing project in Helensburgh. The long awaited Clydeview Development has been officially started with a ceremonial ground breaking of the land on East Montrose Street. Dunbritton Housing Association aims to build 39 amenity flats providing extra care facilities for the elderly and infirm. The Extra Care Development is the first project of its kind taken on by the housing association in its 20 year history, and the project is being run in partnership with with Crossreach, Argyll & Bute Council and The Scottish Government.
