Transcript

Hello, its Wednesday the 8th of June, I’m Maria Rasmussen.
They may not have paranormal powers but the extraordinary talents and enthusiasm of two volunteers working in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park have earned them superhero status. Stuart Crawford and Roger Bond have been honored with the titles of ‘Superman’ and ‘Mr Happy’ in recognition of their tireless work within the Park.
The awards were part of seven days of activities to celebrate Volunteer week at the Park and those who regularly give up their free time to help with activities in the Park. I went along to visit the National Park’s Headquarters in Balloch to find out more.

Why do your recorded broadcasts regularly break-up during transmission. Very annoying.

I keep on trying to view the broadcasts/features but the streaming is so bad it puts me off becoming a regular viewer

I live in Rhu where the broadband is ok most of the time,s but sometimes it's really really slow, URTV mirror the speeds I get on utube. Sometime its great other time I have to wait or reboot to download a video. I watch URTV everyday and have been doing so since January, I usually let it download while i'm getting tea on, that way I can watch it without interruption. I recently had some friends around and we watched a couple of features in on a 42" plasma (via the xbox).. the quality was HD.. it was great!
